BBVA Compass Points South For Hire Of Market Executive In Texas

BBVA Compass has appointed a new market executive of trust and wealth management in San Antonio, TX.

Mary Mahlie, who currently serves as the bank’s wealth management market executive in Beaumont, Corpus Christi and College Station, TX, will continue to oversee operations in the former two cities, the firm said.

At the end of August, 2013, BBVA named William Helms, who previously led the firm’s wealth management business, as vice chairman of the board of directors. Helms previously oversaw BBVA Compass’ private banking, asset management, international wealth management, broker-dealer activities and registered investment advisors.

BBVA Compass is a financial institution that operates 687 branches in the US Sunbelt.
